Community Engagement
Community Engagement
For years, the school only had a few rotting picnic tables but no budget to replace them. This meant, hosting any fundraising events was extremely limited as there was no seating place. It also meant the outdoor dining area for the students was now unusable and unsightly. By engaging the community, I was able to find donors who donated 10 steel framed picnic tables with replaceable weather-resistant benches and surfaces. Here is one of the donors posing with students.
